I don’t think I’ve introduced myself. 


So if you’re new here, let’s initiate from the very beginning.

My name is Syed Afrah Arshad  

 Welcome to my blog site, a platform where words come alive and stories unfold. My name is Syed Afrah Arshad, I reside in Srinagar. I’ve studied at Presentation convent higher secondary school and I am thrilled to have you here. As a passionate writer and a lover of language, I have created this space to share my thoughts, experiences, and insights with you.

Through my blog, I aim to inspire, educate, and entertain readers from all walks of life. Whether it's a thought-provoking essay, a heartwarming story, or a piece of poetry that captures the essence of life, my writings are a reflection of my creativity, curiosity, and love for words.

Well, this tiny little corner of the internet is something that I hold really close to my heart. Well, honestly I think we all should allow ourselves to grow- like when we plant seeds in the garden, we don’t dig them up everyday to see if they’ve sprouted yet. We simply water them and clear away the weeds cause’ we know that the seed will grow in time. Similarly we should do our daily practice and cultivate a kind heart. Abandon impatience and instead be content creating the cause for good and apparently we should go with our hearts- I did that! To be honest, blogging wasn’t something I planned to create- it kinda happened overnight so I went with the flow (or maybe with my heart) haha! I’m looking forward to share my thoughts here and I’m exhilarated about it. Ahh! Yeah, it’s getting tedious- nvm do you remember Andy Warhol once said, “In the future, everyone will be world famous for 15 minutes” and with that I always assume that my internet presence circulates for just 15 minutes lol- 

To be honest, social media is a bit unsaturated for my taste- moreover, my goal in life has never entailed being world famous for only fifteen minutes. I mean who wishes to be famous for a couple of minutes? That’s Preposterous! 


Well, than just a blog, this site is a community where we can come together to celebrate the beauty of language and the art of storytelling.   I was unescorted in the classroom full of unfamiliar faces, the  touch of endeavour on my soul was all I desired. I was scared to acknowledge my existence in the class full of vivid students,  Yet the aspiration that I had was all I needed. I stood up with my confidence and a spirit of valour. I knew human options will only disable me,  rather than striving up bravery within me.  I chose to believe that magnificent things are going to happen to me. I knew, this journey is intricate and there’s no rule to it. I desire to wake up in the middle of the night with my heart and mind filled with felicity. The anxiety, the fear and the pain that I had was never worth anything.
